A Commitment to Learning
For over two decades, our annual Ramadan Tafseer sessions have become a cornerstone of our community engagement. These separate sessions for men and women foster an environment where we can deepen our understanding of Islam and strengthen bonds among participants. It’s a time of learning, growth, and spiritual fulfillment for us all.
Extending Our Reach
Our work extends beyond religious education. Through community outreach, we visit prisons, hospitals, and orphanages, aiming to uplift those in need. These acts of kindness are not just charitable tasks; they form an integral part of our mission to embody the teachings of compassion and support that Islam encourages.
Advocacy and Empowerment
A significant chapter in our history is the recovery of lands initially designated for Muslims worship. Through relentless advocacy, we reclaimed these invaluable parcels, handing them back to the community for essential facilities. This has allowed us to establish the 221 Ummah Masjid, Team 1 Masjid, 321 Ummah Masjid among others and vital burial grounds, nurturing a sense of belonging and identity among our members.

Looking ahead, we are committed to fostering a culture of collaboration through partnerships with local NGOs and organizations. Whether it’s educating tricycle riders or empowering our Imams or youth, our efforts are concentrated on creating a future where Islamic values thrive, and every Muslim in Gwarinpa can fulfill their spiritual and civic duties.
